In 2025, the ADF initiated the deployment of the new SIG F9 pistol to replace the longstanding Browning Hi Power Mk3. The new pistol is currently being distributed to units such as:

• 7th Brigade: The first operational unit to receive the F9 sidearm system in February 2025, with training conducted at Gallipoli Barracks, Enoggera.

• 7th Combat Service Support Battalion: Members of the Fitter Armament team (part of the 7th Brigade) are among those becoming acquainted with the new weapons.

• Army's School of Infantry: Successfully received and commenced training with the F9 system in December 2024.

• RAAF Combat Support Group: Personnel, including trainers, have started training on the F9 for distribution across RAAF units.

THE DISPLAY:

High quality exact resin replicas of the old and new pistols with the background uniform fabric representing both the old and new era. Framed shadow box (no glass) with a dummy round and spent brass.

The central area is left empty to allow for personalization (unit patches/coins, etc.) for the customer. Send me your badges, and I'll fit them for free.
